Hi, Frank. Just another example of the inherent difficulty in optimizing terrestial networks, regardless of how much bandwidth is in the last mile. I just don't think the backbone scales very well. And another argument for relieving the cloud's bottlenecks by using something like satellite-based cache. I suspect that ATHM latency, as with other media, is mainly encumbered by that 20 or 30% of sites that are responsible for 80 or 70% of the packets.
