Victor: The last time this subject came up someone posted a list of CPQ analysts with their ratings and some brief comments. The only analyst who said anything about DEC was Andy Neff at Bear Stearns and that was on 6/12. We need fresh news. Of course anything said by "third parties" would be "comment" or "analysis"(that's why we call them "commentators" and "analysts"). So what's wrong with that? It's what the comment and analysis is based on - hard figure evidence from CPQ!

Look, if Niles, or Kumar, or Herb, or Cramer, comes out and says that the DEC acquisition is going gangbusters, it will move the stock, whether or not you or I think that these guys are credible. I don't care what they base their comments on - it's irrelevant. If Compaq comes out with hard evidence (the numbers) to prove things are going well, that would work to move the stock as well.
