no, I don't buy it anymore. Many BB's will be retiring soon and some even sooner (afterall they can retire early w/ the gains they have in the mkt!!) The mkt won't wait till 2 years before the BBs turn 65 to end. Besides, BB's will not continue to pour money into a falling mkt, I don't care what they think now. Look at the Japanese.

the point about the savings rate is key. Shows we cannot sustain our investment rate AND consumption, and of course each depends o the other for strength. An inherently unstable situation.
