I agree with your analysis. Great leadership with the right man at the right time. Andy Grove and Gordon Moore still there for all the right reasons, making significant contributions and keeping us all excited about 1999 and years to come.

Mary, You posted an excellent commentary on the transition. As a long term intc investor, I was concerned about the baton pass from Grove to Barrett - I hate to see the deck shuffled when I'm winning. But he won me over with his good humored roasting of Kurlak at the analyst's meeting. Mr. Barrett has remarkable presence and confidence for a newbie CEO.
