Zeev :

I am not familiar with AIPN but am familiar with Arakis.

AKSEF ran out of money to hold up their end of the joint venture. They couldn't raise any money at all and had to sell out. HEC is not at all like AKSEF. HEC has oil in Colombia as well as domestic operations. The domestic operations and the various side deals done in Colombia are helping finance the entire Colombian Project.

Believe that Ecopetrol will proclaim Bolivar commercial by the end of the 1st Qrt of 1999. This will provide HEC with another chunk of cash as Ecopete ponies up the back-in costs for drilling already performed/paid by HEC, in addition to cash flow from producing. Long term HEC looks very good to me. In fact, as we sit so low currently, I almost hope you get to wear your $1.50 hat. When/if you break out that garment, I'll put on my engineer's cap because it'll be a train I back up, not merely a truck.
