RE:"Anand has no Pentium II-450 results, but look at CPU shootout at
tomshardware.com
and you'll find that Pentium II-450 is only 1.9% faster than then
400!"

Anand has been challenged to post Winstone 98 results on the Pentium II 450 in the same configuration. So far he hasn't done it.
I wonder where he got those Xeons? Does Intel have the boy in their back pocket?
After Tom trashed the Klamath a couple years ago using Engineering samples...Intel learned the power of these pages and gladly supplied Tom with hand picked samples of their chips...later even UN-clocklocked CeleronAs so they could use Toms page as a advertising tool.
On the other hand, AMD hasn't learned yet that they can get a great deal of free press by feeding their latest chips to these guys.
So all Anand got was an engineering sample. No wonder he's biased toward Intel...he may be on their gravy train of chips.
So if anyone close to AMD is reading this, why in the heck didn't Anand get a better K6-2-400????
