Happened to me this morning around 10.30 EST. But with me it was when I tried to sign on. And since I did not have time to hang around or call them, did not put the order in. Looks like I can still buy the stock about the same price where it was this morning so from that perspective, no problem. But I agree. It is a nuisance. Too bad there does not seem to be too many viable choices at reasonable prices.

I know there has been a lot of complaints about GL's Webbroker, and I've certainly had my share of frustrations. But I thought I'd post a good news story.

I placed a market order today (at about 3:00 pm). In the time it took me to go from: Order Entry to Account Enquiry, List Orders (about 1 minute) the order was displayed as filled.

I guess, at least, some of the Account Representatives can clear your trade fairly quickly, if your account is set up as high risk.
