Serge you are right about the shorting not starting until the Convertible is issued. The Convertible/Short play is a very common hedge, but since it is a hedge no one would short without holding
the Convertible - with the right ratio of shorts to shares (based on
the conversion factor). Therefore any shorting presently taking place
will have nothing to do with the hedge. Other factors must be involved.
