do they change initial margin also? seems stupid not to as it would be an almost auto immediate margin call?

Also interesting: LCOS and XCIT not on list...I'm sure there are many more...

But the two "blue chips" AMZN and YHOO are on there.

Jeff, Brokers are whores and some of them will ignore The Printer's guidelines. Alan is afraid to raise margin rates, himself. So, if it is a voluntary deal, the true crazy speculative hedge funds will find somebody to give them full margin. In fact, most will probably do so, though they may put limits on Joe Sixpack. I see little impact in such wishy-washy nudge, nudge, wink, wink crap.
