EL..I still can't set my watch by this thread. All time closing high (39.125) just a few ticks away. Intraday high (39.78125) not far behind. That ought to wind our clocks. Steve

El- I took a class in Columbus, Ohio with Jerry Favors last year...nice guy....based on my understand of his market forecasting technics, I would say that the Dow has a 53% chance of going up and 47% chance of going down (on a daily basis)....as far as long-term targets, if the Dow goes down to 7400 (or below), we are in a downturn, but there is also a chance that we could go above 10,000 in the next year....my Dow prediction has a +/- of 3,400 pts on either side... As far as dates, I am predicting that a decline could begin around Dec. 15, +/- 21 days, and an advance (on Dec. 17), +/- 34 days... Over the next year, I see Compaq reaching a 12-month high of 55 (+/- 30 pts.)... Of course, these predictions are subject to change, just depends what the charts say.....check back with me next Friday, around 3:30PM... For those of you who can't tell, I attempting to be funny here... BTW- Senor Favors admits that his group got stopped out on the rise up from 7400 (mid-October), and that they did not go long until (I think) at least 1400 pts. (of the rally) had elasped...Someone listening to him over the last two months would have loss out on the best buying opportunity (probably in the last decade)....He deserves to get booted from the prime 3:30PM Friday slot...
