Jerry, this is what CBS MarketWatch's headline said:
CBSM 12/04 15:34 [LU] TRADER: LUCENT PLANNING STOCK SPLIT; LAST SPLIT IN FEBRUARY AND SHARES DOUBLED SINCE THEN.

Yes, do tell us what the Right Line Split Report says.

Jerry, CBS MarketWatch on LU split rumor & LU options:

A trader on the Pacific Exchange, who asked not
to be named, said he'd heard speculation that
telecommunications giant Lucent (LU) also may be looking to split its
stock.

Microsoft shares added 3 1/2 to 125 5/8 on Friday, heading closer to its
all-time high of 130 67/256. Lucent stock added 7 1/4 to 95 5/8 on
trading that was about 50 percent higher than average.

Similarly, trading in Lucent options was heavy on Friday, with most of the
action concentrated on the call side. A call gains value as a stock rises.

More than 6,000 December 95 calls (LU LS) traded on Friday, as the
contract jumped 2 5/8, or 263 percent, to 3 5/8. Also, more than 4,400
December 90 calls (LU LR) changed hands, rising 4 5/8, or 195 percent,
to 7.

Lucent also last split its stock in February, and its shares have more than
doubled since then.
