RE "Cob On"
Could come from the Welsh, as a lot moved to Liverpool and into the coal business. ( put a cob on, and let it burn overnight). It also might be a grade of coal,ie slack, nutty slack.
Neston-Parkgate area lived there for three weeks, its 8 miles from Chester.
Got into this Oinker at 26 and holding on for the ride. Hope you had a good time in AMS and CDG.
