the biggest reason they probably didn't answer the phone is because they've probably had a tsunami of phone calls hit their office. Once they saw what kind of stir was created, then they saw the light. The mall better be as close to perfect as possible with the right look, right stores, right entry order forms on a 'https' site, and whatever they can think of. It's either sink or swim for these guys, first impressions mean everything. One shot and you gotta' take it. Biggest reason to not pick up the phone was to pick up the suspense and not release any 'extra' info by accident of the tongue. And we wait....
