That is just the point DD...we do not build in the US anymore. Go back a few years. The US was the lead in the industrial revolution. Now we are the information age. What happened to the big steel co's, Mining, Aircraft, Shipyards....all downsized or sent overseas or across the border. Now we sit in air conditoned offices wearing Berkinstock's, Dockers and shirts from LL Bean.

PE's don't mean a thing to the 21 year old kid at the terminal all day, taking the scalp on 100 trades a day, crawls into his Porche and goes home to count the 10 to 12k he made today.

This is a whole different world and a whole "differ-net" market than what any of the older ones are used to.

DD, Rumour confirmed. From WSJ:

Investors sold a net $778 million of stock mutual-fund shares in the week ended Wednesday, while money-market funds grabbed a $13.24 billion inflow in the week.
