Let me help you, Addi; the reason is to make more MONEY. Over the last year, CPQ is +45%, Dell is +237%; for 2 years, CPQ is 144%, Dell is +780%; for 5 years, CPQ is +666%, Dell is +9229%. If the ability to analyze price-to-sales, price-to-book, etc. was the key to investing, every accountant in the world would be rich. Keep your Compaq stock, but take some money out of LSI and put it in Dell, and you'll get a lot richer in 1999, Addi <g>.

Congratulations to the long suffering Compaq longs for hanging in there. It looks like a good 4th quarter for the box makers.
