I have been reading all the postings on this board over the last week, but did not choose to join in on the frenzy that was taking place because unlike most of the people trading the stock, I'm a long term holder of the stock. I've owned ECHO since 1993 and plan to continue to hold it because I know the potential is great. I've made several posts over the years on AOL (check archieves) and I'm encouraged by the interest in the stock this week, but I did not appreciate the manipulation by the day traders with inaccurate statements on the company.

I believe some of the information posted is accurate, but some of it is pure fantasy and we don't need it on this board. The company will be growing rapidly going forward with it's credit card processing business. The PO deal is real and should be nationwide in 1999. The revenues from that deal ARE HUGE(22,000 PO's X on average 2 machines per X $1000) for 1999, but the credit card processing part of the business is what will keep the company growing. They have deals pending with large organizations and with large banks on the credit card side that will take them into a new league. I think they will spell that out for everyone soon, maybe next week. I believe over the long run this stock has the potential to reach double digits. I think this will finally be coming true after all these years.

I posted this message to you John because you are a stallworth on this board and hopefully more people with a long term perspective like you will continue to buy and hold the stock like us.

Good Luck
