Agreed - it makes no sense for LU to buy out IFMX. However, to say that "if IFMX starts to go up it would be because of its own merit" is really not appreciating the herd mentality of the street:). If it stays up, then the company's merits may have something to do with it.

Note how the WSJ seemed to have just parroted the rumors from the Yahoo and SI boards - is that lazy reporting or what.

And IBM is also rumored to buy out Victoria's Secret chain of stores.

Will we be required to upgrade to new models once a year?
