We can set up a referral system where we pay members to promote it on message boards, to get other members into the program. Now&#151we wouldn't want to have the site hits simply credited to: fbnassociates.com (that would be too easy). No&#151instead, we should track each member's link so we can pay them for their referrals&#151that's what the program is all about. So let's encode the member's number into the URL, set up a CGI script to handle the tracking. We'll assign each member a unique URL to post: So, fbnassociates.com will generate a hit credited to member #253, Helen Wellonmellon. Pay her.
