One thing to also keep in mind: the BA/GTE merger will likely go through. PAIR lost GTE a few years back. Around 96, PAIR and GTE were designing equipment TOGETHER. Somewhere along the line in 97, the relationship soured. Wonder if pending merger and the deteriorated GTE relationship had anything to do with the dramatic end to product delivery?
