It's a valley, from the Latin vallis. On my home planet, we have an unusual rodent. It was originally discovered by Dr. Jacques Sheete; it lives on an rank and desolate island. It eats fruit and makes poots constantly. Sounds like a Harley. Well, actually a whole bunch of Harleys.

A swale is a low wet area with no outlet for the water and dry most of the year. Man, do I have a bunch of useless knowledge.
