american dreamer; Please reread my post. I know there are people who make a living by going short. I just don't know any of them. That is what I said in my post. If you are one of them I would like to keep in touch. On the surface it would seem that you are right, more companies don't do well than those that are real winners. However, going short has many difficulties that have nothing to do with history. If you trade the short side you must know that. I am certainly, no guru and I never been able to make a steady profit on the short side. I know it can be done but I don't know how. PHOTOMAN
