Maybe there is a person online here that was at the meeting and can answer if they were asked if they would be persuing Ascend? Also maybe they can clear the air on this issue once and for all.

Remember all those supposed rumors about missing the quarter. Well like I said earlier don't trade on rumors because it ends up costing you. Now a week later everyone is saying how rosy everything is. Boy the market makers sure take advantage of the little guy caught off guard while they gobble up the shares at cheap prices. Unfair but a reality in this market. Ron

Judy, first if it is true it is illegal as people traded on inside information. Secondly regardless of those "big contracts" the RBOC market is slowing, so much for the discounting mechanism. See my other post, can not complain with the profit I made, but I dislike LU management and what you said only points to it. Imagine saying the same thing about loosing some big contracts or missing earnings in meetings in closed doors?? were the stock will be and how you will feel that other take advantage of this information and sold??? before you?? $10 to $20 higher?? you would not be happy.
