DDSI NEWS!

LANGHORNE, Pa., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- DIGITAL DESCRIPTOR SYSTEMS, INC.
(OTC Bulletin Board: DDSI), Garrett U. Cohn, President of DDSI, a leading
designer and marketer of digitized imaging systems for the criminal justice
and security markets, today affirmed that FBI certification of the Company's
patent pending Compu-Scan device is on schedule. Compu-Scan is the only
contactless fingerprint capture device currently available.
"The Criminal Justice Information System Division of Litton Industries,
Inc., (Litton/PRC) has chosen our device as the perfect unit for inclusion in
their IDIS system, as previously announced. IDIS is the system for managing
the State Bureau of Investigation transmission of fingerprint data to the
Federal Bureau of Investigation. Digital Descriptor Systems, Inc. (DDSI)
continues to benefit from our strategic alliance with Litton/PRC and their
past experience with the FBI. We have responded to all requests for
information about our product, Compu-Scan, and it's certification in a timely
manner," Cohn stated.
"Independent tests of Compu-Scan indicate we meet and/or surpass current
FBI requirements. Our business partners and clients who have already seen and
examined the Compu-Scan device are quite enthusiastic because our device is
competitively priced plus it will save them money as it does not need the
supplies that all the other contact fingerprinting devices currently on the
market require, and due to its patent pending technology, makes training a
thing of the past," Cohn stated. "Both the Company and our strategic partner
are confident that we will be receiving FBI certification shortly which will
be the final milestone in the research and development phase of our
relationship and the beginning of the actual commercialization."
As previously announced, DDSI is introducing its current technology into
other commercial markets such as financial, access control and identification
industries, as well as areas of the criminal justice marketplace that do not
require FBI certification. Digital Descriptor Systems, Inc., a leading
developer and designer of digitized imaging systems is based in Langhorne,
Pennsylvania. It is traded on the Nasdaq OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol
of DDSI. The internet website address is ddsi-cpc.com.
