I beg to differ. When I was but a young wisp-chinned lad, I came into the possession of a quart or so of dead-pure ethanol. Maybe I could use it as goods negotiable toward some stature (beyond ****ing Geek) among my peers. Well, I knew about the principle behind the Screwdriver. But genuine, organic (even if un-concentrated in a scuffy plastic pitcher) somehow seemed too mundane/noble a vehicle for this undiluted brain solvent. So - we had some powdered Tang in the house. I made it double strength and added a goodly glug of imitation Soviet aircraft de-icer.
"Hey, [Fellow teenage deadbeat], what's a step up from a screwdriver?"
"<garbled answer>. Got some more pizza?"
"Oh. Yeah. Cool. <belch>"

Thus, the Impact Wrench was born...

and now proudly takes its place alongside the Blank Russian and the Mex-Lax.
