Check who mentioned the LU-IFMX rumor first. Was it first mentioned
on SI/Yahoo or CNBC or WSJ ...

When information moves at speed of light, accuracy tends to take
a back seat to speed. Reporter trying to find a scoop, apparently.

There appears to be no obvious reason for LU to buy IFMX, except maybe
to lock it up for competitive reason. OTOH, IFMX has been steady
progress. After a year long hiatus now they make a trip to the
Well. They probably got something going here. Peddling to the
e-merchants, is my guess -- they need big warehouses and cpus to
corelate your street and zipcode to the products you buy online.

As an aside, REDB seems to be selling cheaper than IFMX. It seems
almost like free lunch. I guess the market is trying to tell us
something. A risky arbitrage I would say.
