JE,
All I can say is thanks so much for sending me this. As you may know , I have been railing about this sort of thing in different ways for some time now.
I am convinced a blow up is coming and wrote about it in tonite's Midas. For those interested: lemetropolecafe.com. Go to the James Joyce Table.
Some of the biggest names in the gold industry are now Le Metropole members and are responding to our cries of manipulation and unsustainable low gold prices. This sort of commentary only adds fuel to our arguments. Bottom line: a crackdown on gold lending. Look out above.
Our day is right around the corner.

Bill

Great article, thanks, opportunity knocks!
I, for one, am going to take the 15 minutes to e-mail this article to my local paper. If all the goldbugs, in all the towns, in all the countrys, do the same, maybe we could help destroy the myth "gold is finished".
At least we'd be doing something, instead of sitting around feeling helpless! come on guys do your part!

any chance of a goldbug class action suit against the federal reserve, for aiding in conspiracy to disrupt free market forces? I know, we'd lose the case, but we'd get the press.

At least, finally, I can hit back, even if, it's only a slap!-mike

This almost confirms the Manipulation of the POG.
It's outright FRAUD against the legitimate holders and investors of all forms of Precious Metals, as the free market pricing has been compromised.
In the USA, Cartels are illegal (reference Debeers and the Diamond industry).

What about Gold?
Why does the US turn a blind eye to the continued manipulation for profit by the largest financial institutions worldwide?
Is the lengthy unbelievably tight price range of Gold (290. to 300.) the manipulator's answer to bailing out the short positions of LTCM and others?

All reasons to own Gold at these unnaturaly cheap prices IMO.......
