imhfo, tom, you make very good sense.

and as for jim goodman, i'll say this. if memory serves me well (and it surely does not all of the time!) , he maintained a civil and polite demeanor here on this thread when some posters were winding up and taking pot shots at him. so that says something about the man. and of course, about the ones who were taking the shots.

For what it's worth, I didn't "blast" him for his investment style. I have no objection to anyone buying or selling anytime they want. I objected to his blatant self-touting and his even more unpalatable false modesty. But mostly I object to his using these threads to solicit personal business. There are other forums for that and he should be willing to pay for those services.

But why don't we just drop this thing now and move on?
