Gary,

I take it that you work for QP so here is my complaint. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK YOU GUYS GOT HERE!! I just got QP2 after playing with my brother-in-law's QP1 for a while. You guys have gone back into the stone ages as far as user interface and user documentation is concerned. In QP1, I can build a list of stock that I want to follow by adding and deleting symbols. In QP2, it is not clear how to do this. When I delete a symbol, a hole is left in the spreadsheet. And your scan interface is the biggest joke. In QP1, what you lacked was a batch scan function. In QP2, one must go through this weird thing that you have set up - add, edit, import, and export. Who came up with this? Furthermore, you guys advertise clean data from 2 sources. Well, take a look at BLS on 12/2 - down $43.75 on volume of 600 shares? QP1 is at least 10 times better than QP2 and at lower cost.

Can anyone suggest a competitive product for me to look at?

Gary, I hope you are focusing on how to clean the data better before we download it. There are too many errors.

We'll be shipping a new cd shortly that has an improved ascii export, performance improvements, and applies corrections to your Metastock files.

Gary will this be shipped to existing customers automatically or will we need to call in for the CD?

Gary: Thanks for the improvements. QP2 just gets better and better. Thanks for everything you've added to the scan program, too, including the increased speed.

Gary,
I know that this has been asked, but I didn't spot an answer...

How will we get this update? Will you ship automatically to all users or will it be necessary to request it? If a request is necessary, can we do it by e-mail instead of phone?

Really need improved ascii...been waiting for months!

<<It looks like the intra day updates will be coming out sometime after that ... Gary>>

Can you tell us:

1. How many file updatings per day do you contemplate.

2. How time-delayed will these quotes be.

3. Would these intraday quotes be for the entire database.

4. Could we filter out just a subset of only those stocks we REALLY want to see.

I think this aspect of your service could be important.
