Jon, great idea for a thread. I am also confused about exactly what Wireless knowledge is supposed to do. As I posted on the Qualcomm thread, Irwin Jacobs is giving a forum on the subject in La Jolla (ritzy area of San Diego) Monday, December 7th. Since I live in San Diego, I hope to go if time permits and the tickets are not sold out. I will report back here if successful!

Maurice, we may disagree on politics but at least we agree on the Q!!!

My message on Irwin Jacobs talk on Wireless Knowledge, in case any San Diego locals are interested in attending:

Anyone care to contribute toward the $40 ticket price?

Great investing to all,

STEVE

Hi fellow Q'ers,

This is one venture that changed my opinion of MSFT. Not much, but enough to get me to buy 200 shares of, yes, MSFT!!!! Damn, its the first time I ever owned MSFT, and it doesn't feel all that bad. The stock is heading to 150 and looking very strong at this point. Now I am still in the Q long term, although I have traded it 4-5 times, but the last time was for the long haul.
The joint venture between M/Q will be another buy for me when they go public. Plus still looking to add to LWIN, but only when it looks like a move. Of course, the Q is doing its thing of not doing anything. Great company, but the stock is, well, not great.
Maurice, I hope one of these days your 80 prediction comes true. It will be fun to laugh about these down days and get the calculators out to count our money!!
Also, have you guys noticed the new faces (posters) on the Q thread. This all happening after the M/Q deal. We must be starting to interest more investors now......keep them coming!!!

later, John
