Shark,

You are correct.
A lot of these kinds of folks probably get little attention in real life and just like to see their names, claims and prognostications in print on the internet.
Its funny to me how they think they could influence a stocks direction by spewing their digital waste around.
They really have no influence on a stock IMO......the thread is only an extremely small part of the investing base and I doubt if any thinking investor makes there decision on someone coming out of the blue with an opinion or agenda, or just throwing out shallow claims.
There are many forces at work to influence a stock.
I do appreciate however that this forum should be and sometimes is a recepticle for legitimate pros and cons and desimination of information about a particular stock both positive and negative.
And I like to think we all work together as a team, without specific agenda, to ferret out the truth which could only enhance our investment decisions.

Happy trails,

Chuckr

Well said Shark.........
Too many people with opinions.....opinions don't count, how many people have actually called Mr Chu????? I have and I'm in for the run. I like this company and I believe they will be big. I have seen many crystal balls on this side...thx for the input.....I would have been out and would have lost a lot of money!!!
If you don't like the stock move on and don't waste the time of people who support it. Anyway, why don't some of you buy some Amazone.com.....it's only around 200, much better then the 3 of GGNC.
Happy Holidays to all, mine will be great!!!

SHARK KING

What we call promoting, non-players like yourself call Hyping.
Although I am a non-player (whatever that's supposed to mean) I think I have a pretty good sense of the difference between promoting and hyping. You know, a wise man once said "there's a fine line between clever and stupid", but, in my opinion, the line between promotion and hyperbole is not so fine, especially in this case.

I read how you slammed this stock on other threads as well.

I don't think that you required too much detective work to find my other posting on GGNC, after all, I did provide this thread with a link to the one post on one thread which was related to GGNC. I don't think its accurate to say that I slammed the stock on other threads. In fact, other than a couple of URL's pointing to this thread, the body of the post contains two words, namely "Hype Alert", which is consitent with my original posting. I have kept my discussion of GGNC to a few posts on my this thread.

You are pathetic
The last time someone ever said something this nice this to me was when I took a deep-discount motivational seminar.

This company is going to make good money for themselves and investors and I hope you continue to miss out.

When it comes to picking stocks, if you miss one train, there's always another one pulling out of the station. Also, with some stocks, there as much money to be made on the downside as on the upside.

People like you who only offer made up story lines to try to prove a point aren't worth our time. Monday will be a good day as will 1999 for GGNC and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Sorry.

I haven't made up anything up - I have posted my opinion, along with links and other information that I felt influenced my decision, including the hyperbole-laden unsolicited spam e-mail that I received from a "promoter" of GGNC. In my opinion, the only "made up" material in my post are claims made by the "investor" who wrote that e-mail.

I think that you should consider that when a person disagrees with a position someone else takes, the logically appropriate response (perhaps reasonable response) is to criticize the position itself. The approach you have chosen in responding to me appears to be rooted in fallacies of diversion (particularly ad homenim). Those who engage in such fallacious arguments, are working at cross-purposes to the goal of this thread which presumably is to assist people in forming reasonable opinions about GGNC.

Please don't try to make me (or "people like me") the issue. My opinion, the opinion of others, and your opinion for that matter, doesn't change a single thing about the company.

Regards,
John Sladek
