My initial question is still valid for many on this thread. Does anyone know (understand) how these legal processes work? Is it wise to inquire about several of these legal deals? How do we pick a legal team, if we are so inclined to do so?

I just found this SI Topic on Class Action Lawsuits:

Subject 18644

Here is an excellent post:

Let's discuss whether it is worth the effort in this case or would we just be lining some lawyers pockets.

I have an idea. If any bottom-feeders try to steal from us (ie. Wolf & Popper succeeds in extracting a settlement from ISLI that hurts honest investors), then lets SUE THEM.

I bet we could find a lot of courts and some decent attorneys that would lend a sympathetic ear. I wonder if thats ever been done before. Id love to see how it plays out. I bet if there was a lot of "discovery" done on the internal documents and E-Mails of class-action law firms, we would find that they know full well that their actions harm innocent people and are often fraudulent -- and that they really couldnt care less.

Bill, maybe Wolf & Popper will get you a coupon for a discount on DataDirect or PVCS if you help them take my money.

Maybe if I keep this up some class-action attorneys will come after me...what a great story that would be. I might get in the paper.
Andy Grove, Im joining the good fight.
