Thanks. I just called the dell. The representative was really friendly. I said I'd like to buy an INSPIRON 7000, but I need it to be delivered on or before 16th of the month. He said that I am looking at the delivery date of 14th or 15th. The company can ship it by 11th of the month. So guess what? I placed the order. They are so confident that they will be able to meet the date that in case they don't, I'll have the option to cancel the order. I am impressed. Just in case people on the thread are curious, I asked the sales person how the company is doing. Same old story. He said that the company is EXTREMELY busy.
