Hi PaperChase, interesting post re: AdTran. I took a look at their home page, I would suggest that maybe their sales are flat because of what they are selling. There is a lot of competition in this industry over what technology will become standard. Looks like AdTran mostly makes things that support the old technology.BWDIK? Why do you want Lucent to "roll over"? A high P/E can be remedied by two processes, reduce P or raise E, which Lucent is doing. You could have bought Lucent for 59 11/16 on 10/5/98, now it is around 90? That's $30 a share in 2 months, not too shabby.IMHO. (Just checked Yahoo, it's up to $96. Before I get attacked, I am not saying Lucent is worth $96. OK? But, as Ken Sanders said, can I keep the money anyway?) CobaltBlue
