You should watch for what they did instead of listening to what
they said. Although there were more downgrades then upgrade
recently for XLNX, the daily volume for a day with a downgrade
announced was much much lower than a day with upgrade.

The semi industry going up this time is from the support of funds.
Otherwise, who else would have enough money to push the whole semi
index up by this amount in just a month of time. Can you believe
how many billions of dollars would be needed for this bull run.

As for XLNX as well as all other semi companies, they will adjust
the future earning est. at the time when they are starting to sell
the stocks. At this moment, they will keep the earning est. low
enough to shake you out of all good stocks first. Latter, when you
want to cover it back, they will do some meaningful downgrade
right after you just buy the stocks. This is an old game plan
of funds for the recent 8 to 10 years. However, it always works
for them though.

I think the downgrades are because the price got ahead of itself, not because of any expected slowdown in their business. I wouldn't go long at 61 either, but I'm hoping to get back in sometime before next earnings.
