My cousin is actually more impressive. About the stocks you mentioned: those were very short term plays, nothing held overnight.

I think Tim is probably a better trader than I am, one day last week he said he had only one losing trade all day. I've never done that.

I'm best at very short term and very long term, I have not been as good at predicting the 2 day or 2 week moves. For the long term, I've never shorted anything in my life. I use a combination of TA and Peter Lynch style ideas. I read everything I can get my hands on. Two recent books that I liked were Jake Bernstein's book and the "Secrets of a SOES Bandit" book. The TA book I like the most is a book by Tom DeMark called "New Science of Technical Analysis". Tom DeMark used to write articles for magazines and that's where I first saw his stuff. Right now I'm reading about "Japanese Candlesticks".
