Daniel,

I would appreciate the source of your data where it is reported that Europe's systems, to include embedded systems, are already compliant.

I have heard nothing except that Europe is more engrossed with the EMU conversion than they are with Y2K. (That was told to me a year ago by the Y2K manager from a VERY large mutual fund). There have also been reports that up to 75% of German corporations are still in the I&A, and early stages of remediation phases.

And my sources on Asia are fairly knowledgable in that their positions have them closely coordinating with Asian gov'ts to get them to place a greater emphasis on Y2K that has not been shown until recently.

And from what I'm hearing, Asian gov't are basically clueless and attempting to scapegoat their way out of the issue.
