Decided it's time to start buying. I was waiting for the bottom of the tax selloff, but 10.75 was too cheap to resist. May go lower, but I didn't care to take the chance that a large buyer would come in at this level. I look for a good rebound in January as investors start looking outside an overpriced US market.

I think your statement typifies the change in the market in the last 10-15 years. Investing is now owning stock as if 'stock' were a commodity. I also feel that this mentality will cause some investor suffering in years to come.

I do believe the major investment houses have been treating stocks like commodities since the early 1800's. How many portfolio managers are compensated for loyalty???
