IMO albeit all true, at the end parent would rebel against teachers who teach..("torture") So parents get what they voted for...Any
school that would dare do opposite would be stoned..Society created Teacher Unions (monster no doubt) not vice versa

A teacher's salary stinks. That is part of the problem for my daughter it was love as her income was reduced by sixty percent when she decided to teach.
She has two degrees and working on her masters in bio.

I have to disagree. I think there's nothing more important in the level of education than parental involvement.

But I do agree that teacher's unions have too much power.
