Manly,TA is saying NAVR is now a buy---but I have one question, can anyone on this thread assure me the convertibles preferred on NAVR
are not of the "Toxic" variety--I myself on reading info do not see them as Toxic---but I am not that good at deciphering that kind of information--but like you say,Navarre is much more than NetRadio--they
would only gain by spinning this off in order to get it capitalized--
as they state, they have been suporting NeTRadio--it has not been supporting Navarre.Max90

Manly,

My guess on the IPO will be just that, a guess. I would be inclined to say that NAVR will do the IPO as quick as possible. I think, based on their previous delay in the IPO, that NAVR management is aware of timing issues and as a consequence will keep a keen eye on the prevailing winds.

That said, I think the last two weeks of December and most of the first quarter are going to be bullish. I do not think we have seen the end of the sell-off that really started a couple of weeks ago but really became apparent last Monday. I think this sell-off will end next week. NAVR will need to act within this bullish timeframe to gain maximum benefit from the IPO. First quarter is a must, and it is possible. I guess IPO in Febuary 1999.

I plan on doing some averaging on this one, which as a rule I usually do not do.

NAVR has surprised me more than once the last couple of weeks, so I am not sure that in the near term (next 5-10 trading days) that I will be able to get it under 7. I still think a little tax selling could hurt us, but interest in NAVR will probably pick up after some press releases and of course the actual filing.

Good Luck
