Len,

Interesting. The speed of adsl is undoubtedly impressive. What I am wondering is, how does this break down as far as delivery of data in terms of seconds vs 56k and also as far as speed of sending out orders. I have the impression that 56k is downloading data at speeds rated in milliseconds. If adsl is, say, fifty times faster and that means a hundred milliseconds faster (I am no tech expert and just guessing here), would that mean that the data download was half a second faster and the upload half a second faster? Or would adsl be two or three seconds (or more) faster? If it was the latter, adsl would be a huge advantage for daytraders. If it's a half second or less each way, that is maybe marginal in terms of a trading advantage. Can anyone provide some data on speed comparisons?
