KERA vs laser

Laser is very expensive and is irreversable.
With age, your eyes change and so you have to keep
having Laser touch up surgery. And what if a new technology
comes available in the next few years? Your eyes have been
cooked irreversably.

KERA is inexpensive and it is totally reversable!
As vision changes with age, they just insert new rings.
And if a better treatment comes available in many years, this
is reversable for you to enjoy the new technology.

"KeraVision, founded in 1986, is pioneering the use of corneal
polymer inserts with the potential to permanently treat common vision
problems without permanently altering the eye."

Cowen expects KeraVision's sales to reach $545,000 this year. That figure could grow to $52 million in 2000. That growth looks pretty good to me <g>.

Convinced enough?
The downside would be if they do not get approved.
I have researched the technology and reviewed the study
results and am impressed. I believe they will get approved.
It is less dangerous and is reversable. It is Safe and Effective..
that is what the FDA is lookin' for.

Regards,
S.W.
