Who is going to write applications for HAAPI? For that matter, who has written applications for HAAPI? (Besides NRID, that is.)

What biometric hardware seller is using HAAPI? (Authen Tec doesn't count . . . no known sales yet.)

What is NRID's burn rate and cash on hand -- i.e., likely life expectancy?

Sheldon,

If HAAPI ends up being the DofD standard only.....

David is correct......Toast. Pith helmets.

Major decisions along these lines are being made now.......Very much like VHS vs. Betamax. The results will be known very soon. The big question will be whether anyone here will recognize it........As the market becomes more and more biometric savy......brokers will pull a chart on NRID and run. As the market exposure picks up......there is really only one pure play that makes sense. I know you are already in it.......so you are covered. Think like a broker.

There are many, many very smart folks here. Knowing the direction of the industry is the key to picking the winners. I hope for you guys that NRID figures out a way to be a winner.....but for the life of me....I just can't figure out how. I think the industry is moving away from NRID at break neck speed......and NRID no longer is able to do business with those who need biometric solutions......Same problem FINX had.

bg

ps. Figure out why IDX bought Identicator.....and you will have gained a window on the future......JMHO........And be kind to David....Remember that we were here when NRID was at a split adjusted $9.00 telling you guys the same things....and $6.00....and $3.00........ A little credit needs to be given for being right.
