Q is here! I went to the Sprint store here in Dallas and they received the software for the Q phone. There is a completely new set of software, and they would not transfer my phone numbers and settings from the old Q phone. According to the technician, aparently there was some concern expressed by Qualcomm that whatever defect was in the earlier software, there should be no contamination by transferring phone numbers. The new Q-phone set contains a leather belt pouch (see the Qualcomm webstore), so we won't have the phone falling off our belts anymore. The Q still was not on display in the store.

Let's hope the plastic, the keypads and everything else work fine this time. The company needs no more disappointments.
