>>I am not going to jump in until at least more consolidation ... <<

Sure no prob! I jumped in when SPX was at 1120 and now its at 1175. Originally I jumped in when SPX was around 950 but got out around 1080. And from what I saw a lot of pundits are still waiting for that consolidation. Well at least for me its good to know what I had left at the beg of oct is almost double at the end of nov. And I dont even play any net stocks. So just wait, one of these days that consolidation will come. And when you jump in you find out it was not a consolidation but a correction but it was not a correction it was a bear market.

>>I think the market needs more time to find a bottom ...<<

Yep! That bottom could come as soon as SPX @ 1300. And you are in good company, Lots of people still waiting for some consolidation.

The FED has eased three times and will ease again. There is an enourmous amount of money on the sidelines that missed the run from Dow 7500 to Dow 9000. These are the "professional". They sold in anticipation of massive redemptions which never happened. The Boards of the funds are not going to be happy with the managers with the 1998 results. They have to invest this money before the end of 1998. This is Dec. 7. Do the math. IMO, the big money will come in a hurry with ANY small pullback. Watch CPQ as a "bellweather" stock. It dropped on Thur. and gapped up on Fri. CPQ GAPPED!!!! It takes an ungodly amount of money to move this stock that much. IMO, any shorting of big tech is a very high-risk/low-reward game at this time.

We could finish with the Dow at 10,000, IMO.
