This sounds like the much dreaded "liberal ad hominem" to me, Michael. In case you haven't notice, there's plenty of name calling goes on around here, and it'd be hard to claim it's restricted to the "filthy liberals".

I've referred to Rush plenty, of course, but never to his appearance, only the now popular style of one-sided derision as political commentary.

Rofl! Ha Ha Ha Ha Rofl!

calling people fat like a bunch of 5th grade playground kids is about all they are capable of offering people.

As opposed to the "Hillary is a D O G" and misc remarks about Chelsea (really low btw to insult a kid) that we hear day in and day out from the conservatives here. I guess the dog remarks count as, whats the term, "substantive debate", huh? At least when I make some remark about Rush its some comedic reference and Im trying to be funny or something! Man oh Man does your side need to look in the mirror! sheesh.

Oh and btw, if you check out my recent dialogues with Bob Churchill, you will see it is he, a conservative that is preaching the fear of poverty among the elderly. I am in favor of redefining entitlements since I think the beneficiaries are wealthier than the contributors to the program at this point.

You forgot the fear of republicans keeping people from voting and burning black churches, two themes that were used in the last election.
