Thanks Frank, and as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for". I'm just hoping for a market sell-off this week so I can pay a little less for more shares of ATHM...

Hi Frank,

(sorry if already discussed)

There are a couple articles at the CNET site regarding the Microsoft investment in Scientific Atlanta (maker of digital set-top boxes) and how that investment allows them to get their CE OS on the boxes and their WebTV service onto a cable infrastructure. Clearly it is aiming for the non-computer owning market (still quite substantial) and so is not a direct threat to @HOME's computer-based service. However, anywhere Microsoft goes one must be wary (I believe they have invested in RoadRunner indirectly).

Does @HOME have any strategy for the set-top box market? As televisions, wireless phones and even automobiles become internet ready the PC space could be marginalized.

For the record I am not long or short @HOME but have been watching the box-makers and Microsoft.

Thanks for any help,
John
