Re: "One Hundred Years of Solitude," I strongly recommend that you read it, Penni. I don't make that recommendation to just anyone. Can't you check out a copy with regular size type from the library? (I am assuming you have a paperback).

But, it may not be your cup of tea. Do you like Borges? Eudora Welty? If not, forget Garcia Marquez.

Re: motorcycle/barn story. Did you notice it was cold and wet until AFTER you made love? (I'm betting not.)

Speaking of barns.....when I was 14 I was up at a barn with another 14 year old and we sorta lost track of time. The next thing I know it is dark and we are walking home and here comes my Dad with his bright lights on and all I know is nothing really happened but boy was I in trouble. Had hay in my stockings. But like I said it was all very innocent. Fun memory...sort of. Wow lights just went out.
