Les, the Republicans need to find another Ronald Reagan, who the social conservative wing (aka RR) trust enough to let him get by with lip service to their cause. Poor George Bush, bent over backward to please the Falwell crowd, and they still never trusted him. I'm not sure if there's anybody like Reagan on the horizon, got any ideas? Colin Powell has moral stature, but I wonder if he'd be acceptable, if he had the stomach to run in the current environment. Cheers, Dan.
