Jfred,

Yes, that's the one! In fact all of the special effects in "Plan 9. . ." are a real hoot, and it is said to be the very worst movie ever made.

Actually, that would be Attack of the Eye Creatures, for one. Plan 9 is considered by most to be The Worst Movie Ever Made. It is so bad that even I, a sci-fi aficionado, cannot watch it all at one sitting. Bela Lugosi died in the middle of shooting, and after that, there is a different guy for that character, walking around covering the bottom half of his face with his cape. Also starring Vampira, who had a 12" waistline (no kidding) and who later sued Elvira for ripping off her character (and lost). Not to mention the sets; the spaceship is astoundingly bad. Not to mention the script. Not to mention Ed Wood's direction.

Ed Wood (the film) is pretty good, but to get the full impact of Plan 9, you will have to rent it. Drink beers or whatever first. I met Elvira at the height of her career (hosting a weekly sci-fi TV show in L.A.) and she was Real Cool.
