Hi Milkman, I always advocate a mental stop loss instead of a mechanical one to avoid showing your hand to the market makers. Because I am scanning many stocks at once to get a feel for the overall buying/selling action, I usually don't have my L2 screen up. But L2 is a great tool for slower stocks and for selecting the best order route for a particular stock. I am now using RealTick III from MBTrading and am very satisfied with it. Ken www.mtrader.com
